It's a peaceful fishing village with full infrastructure: supermarkets, pharmacies, fish and fruit markets — most with home delivery — plus good restaurants for every taste.

The climate is pleasant year-round, but the second half of the year tends to bring more constant sun and strong winds, the favorite season for sailing sports.

The village of Preá is full of good local restaurants, from simple to sophisticated. Every morning fishermen arrive with the catch of the day — worth checking the fresh fish before choosing where to eat.

Besides water sports, you can take ecological tours on foot or horseback to Jericoacoara National Park, enjoy the long white sand beach and watch the sunset from your house's veranda.

Preá is considered one of the best wind spots in the world, with constant winds that attract kitesurfers and windsurfers of every level.

Within the village, quad bikes and bicycles are the most common way to get around. For longer trips in the region, we recommend arranging transport in advance.
